Is there any news on red dead redemption 2? I believed it was going to be officially announced earlier in the year but so far heard nothing.

Nope, nothing announced yesterday.

Having also finished watching Hell on Wheels yesterday, there's definitely a Wild West theme missing from my schedule now!

All speculation so far, there are also rumours of a Red Dead remaster.

I'm 80% sure there will be. They had to manufacture more units just because the xbox one could play it in backward compatible mode.

It's a goldmine.

Red Dead Revolver came out on the xbox in 2004, whereas Redemption was released in 2010. This generation is ready for one.

Units as in discs or actual Xbox consoles because if it's consoles I find that highly unlikely

I've had every GTA but never played Red Dead. I don't feel like I'm missing out on much but I'm sure you'll all say I'm wrong.

I can go one better than that. I've tried to play it 3 times and could never get into it. Thought it was a bit crap tbh

It took me 3/4 tries to get into it. Now I class it as the best game of last generation.
