when ur whole friends list is playing it it kinda makes u wanna play it too as ive known them all for the last 5 years and played pretty much every BF game with them from server stomping to LEVELBF and competitive..

peoples opinions are not what made me buy the game more to do with the people ill be playing with!

yea it wasnt good at all when i played the beta as i think it was down tho to the ****** desert map more the anything alpha was good fun tho the map rain effects etc.. but i played solo just running and gunning.. games like this are x10 more fun when played with people you've known for a while..

This is the best reason. However it didn't work so well for BFHL and SWBF..

We're just different people is all, nothing bad about that. I will not succumb to peer pressure on anything in life and if I dont like or enjoy a game, I'm not going to play it just because friends are, after all why would I spend money and time on something that I do not enjoy...its one of the reasons why I dont learn Ballroom Dancing

As someone earlier jokingly said, I've just to learn that peoples thoughts on a game are irrelevant because they will still buy it if their friends do.

Still prepared to eat my own words if they improve the faults I had with it, add an actual hardcore mode, and improve squad play etc. I'd be happy to pay for it then.

Yup, problem is most of the people I play with have gone nope at this, only one of us has bought it so far. And it still doesn't feel like you benefited from squadding up.

Yup, that was hilarious hl and swbf, "go on get it, it is so much fun"... few days/weeks later, everyone stops playing it

You really *do* benefit from squading up in this game as the majority of points are awarded for following squad capture/defend orders or squad revive/resupply/repairs.. So much so in fact it seems to be more important than actually winning the round sadly.

You can easily go 30-0 alone in a light tank and end up half way down the scoreboard.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, its something like a 500 point bonus for capping a flag which has been called as the target by your squad leader

Which aspect of the points system? They did make it so that kills count as a result of the moaners, but objectives are still the crux of the points
