Help me cheer up the misses by a small vote!

Can we have a poll for whether or not to open a justgiving page? I think it's the least we could do, given that we're all such lovely, warm, generous, considerate people here in GD :)

You are considerate! But I really couldn't accept it. Just not my nature.

The reality is that the photos are a luxury we can live without - so have had to.

The car is a requirement. And yes its screwed us over, but that's my issue not the forums :(

Just be careful with the amount of votes you gain "Photographic Synergy reserves the right to disqualify any entry for any reason. Gaining votes for your photo through use of 'click farms' and other pay for like's websites will result in photos being disqualified. "

That's a fair point I imagine their app will allow them to see where the user clicked through from so maybe change the link in the OP so it's got to be copied and pasted into the address bar.

Have voted :)

You know, the gaming community I run has members who have had similar and we've always clubbed in to sort each other out. We've built gaming PCs for a few of our members, if some of the guys can't afford the latest title we all chip in and buy it for them, we've helped people through all sorts which has really helped the community become stronger.

OcUK has many smaller communities within but I rarely see anything like this happen. 900 bones is a lot of money but if random nice people are willing to help, why not?

Maybe I'm heartless but I'd only give someone money if they were sick or needed an operation, even raising money for charity, that sort of thing... but to help someone buy something they don't need? Nah.

Well I should join your gaming community!! What do you lot play? Been looking for a friendly community outside of work to get involved with when i can.

I get what people are saying about the costs. Photos are a funny business model, some places over charge and some are reasonable.

The prices for the canvas and prints are silly, but the digitals were not too bad, which i had the intention of taking the punt on but the car made that impossible.

They wanted around £250ish for the full res versions of about 10 images - expensive still given the suggestions of other options like hiring a photographer etc... But that is always food for thought next time!

Its honestly very nice to offer, but i just cant stomach that much good will for a luxury over necessities!

How would I go about that? Tried to find a link that was un-apped but cant seem to.

We play onstly on PS4 nowadays, but we're stronger than ever. We play loads of various games, Rocket League, Rainbow 6, Destiny, Battlefield 1, Overwatch, and whatever else. We're basically a pool of loads of people who get on well, from all over the world, who come home after work, crack open a beer and get online. We take very few things seriously, instead focussing more on just having fun and enjoying ourselves. The banter flows like crazy (as some on here will probably be able to attest to), we just go with the flow and play whatever takes the moment, as we're more about the company than the gameplay.

We have various Whatsapp groups for various games, we have people from all over the world (USA, Canada, UK, loads of Europeans, and the latest one is Pakistan) so there's usually always people to play with regardless of the time of day.

But that's enough about Forever Gaming :D
