That's kind of how I felt. Actually a very enjoyable episode.

All the hinting about the axe and then the threat to remove the hand. Very well done even if it was essentially screwing with comic book readers :p
 
Wow that was brutal. Not knowing 2 were getting it or what happens in comic's it was a bit of a shock..

It's exactly the same feeling as watching England play football. Incredible amount of promise and opportunity for something brilliant but ultimately your let down.
Still watch them just incase but it helps to vent in the end to justify your reasoning for not listening to your head and giving up. Instead you listen to your heart.

Gotta be the most brutal yet!

I knew someone was gonna get it. Didn't see no.2 coming. That eye ball popping!

Can't see how Rick and the crew are gonna get out of this one. Hope they do though and get their revenge.

I'm at a bit of a loss here, I did not say did not like the show. I said I did not enjoy the episode. Checking other threads for other shows it seems people frequently post that an episode isn't particularly good.

Have the rules changed again and negative opinions of individual episodes aren't allowed? Mods? Anyone? :rolleyes:
 
Jesus that was brutal, felt abit uneasy after that eye scene.

Thought Rick was going to get his hand cut off in the RV, it was placed nicely on the table while Negan was cleaning the axe. All that talk of "right hand man" etc
 
Ooo that was good, I knew Glenn got it in the comic but didn't think they'd go along with it for the TV show so certainly wasn't expecting the 2nd bashing. Don't think I've been that tense watching a programme before other than maybe the finale for GoT season 6.
 
Man that was intense. Haven't read the comics so that was a surprise but gees, Negan goes to town on those guys. Could have had the same impact I think without it being so graphic but I won't stop watching because of it.

I actually thought Rick was going to go for Negan with his hatchet when he was knelt by him after trying to make him cut Carls arm off.

Damn shame about Abraham, he was one of my favourites but he went out in style, of course now we're going to get a couple of filler episodes because there's no way they can keep that kind of tension or pace up for the budget they've got to work with but still, that was epic.
 
Honestly, it was distasteful and I'm normally the one telling my wife it's just a TV show (when watching GoT for example). I get that it's following the comic book, or whatever it's following, but there's got to be limits to what should be shown especially for a show they air at 9pm.
 
9pm is the water shed so it's fine in my book.

I can't stand all this faux outrage I'm reading about this, it's a TV show in the zombie apocalypse, it's been violent since the start.
 
abraham wasnt that bad. but i actually felt mildly a bit sick when glenn got hit... i wonder 9/10 episodes why i even watch it but i always do watch them! cant wait to see rick smash neegan to bits.

People moan when they get through a threat too quickly and then they moan when they think it's dragged out. I hope they get at least a season from neagan.

There was nothing intimidating about the governor when he was introduced. The governor in the books was intimidating and brutally raped one of ricks group. I found the series governor to be a bit of a joke. It's worth reading the novels to see what they should have done with the governor.

I'm guessing Daryl gets most of this series off.
 
i can sleep better now ive seen glenn face on the talking dead .. hes alive and well ! :D
