Item Arrived after Refund

Hi all, I bought something from China and it didn't arrive within the specified period of six weeks so I was issued with a refund. I have since bought another one from someone else. It arrived eventually after 10 weeks and now the seller keeps contacting me for payment. I asked the seller to arrange collection because I have no use for it but the seller says that's too expensive from the UK. What would you do?
 
I have had the same thing from another Chinese seller, and yes not through Ebay. First item never arrived. Weeks later they sent another one and didnt even tell me they were doing that.

They then contacted me to ask for payment but I told them I dont want it anymore and they need to collect it and they say they have no means of arranging collection from the UK so can I post it back and they will reimburse me.

Not sure what to do yet.
 
I had this with a macbook air battery (£50 ish), the seller just told me to keep it.

I decided to put it on ebay at a reduced cost so someone else could have a bargain and I could feel a bit better about myself
 
Bought an xmas jumper online beginning of November. Didn't state delivery time so after Xmas and still no jumper. Got refunded and it turned up in February. No contact at all from the seller what so ever so just kept it. If they can't be bothered to sort out the collection that's their problem personally
 
Keep it.

They'll never be interested in paying return postage as it will likely cost more then the item is worth. Anything that takes 6 weeks from China will have come over in a shipping container, hence the cheap price but longgggg wait.
 
Same happened to me after 4 weeks nothing arrived so refunded.
Weeks later the items arrived i just kept them.More hassle to send them back than the items were worth.

Well I havent priced up dispatching it back to China yet but would feel uncomfortable unless they pay me first up front.

In my case the item is £95 so obviously worth it to them to get me to send it back. I did expect them to say keep it.
 
And they are still miffed the card company reimbursed me for the first one delivered. They say they have proof it was delivered to somebody wearing a football shirt (I dont own one)
 
That's between them and the courier, nothing to do with you apart from you stating you didn't receive it.
 
It's unfortunate for the seller, but his business model needs to accommodate situations like this. If he can't collect the item then no way should you be expected to pay to return it. Tell him you'll donate it to a charity of his choice.
