Its good to see that helicopter gunships still have to inexplicably get within 5 feet of Kong to be able to hit him, nice wee holdover from the 70's version. :rolleyes:

Indeed, that would be my major complaint.

My favourite iteration of Kong is the very original film from 1933, I adore that film. This Kong is your typical 2016 version of a monster. I'll still watch it though and probably enjoy the hell out of it.

If they kept Kong at around the 50' mark then it wouldn't be fair on Godzilla, he'd have to all the heavy lifting when they team up.

Looks alright apart from Tom Hiddleston who I find unconvincing. He's hardly in the trailer but I suspect will be in most of the film.

Completely different. This is set in the same universe as Godzilla. There's a Godzilla vs Kong on the books for 2020, after Godzilla 2.
