If you think that changing the handlebars is a hassle compared to researching and buying bikes limited by the handlebar length than...

I don't know why it's bothering you more than it does me but I don't care, I've made my choice.

I'm beginning to appreciate the rain at the minute.
Rolled into work after 40 minutes in a monsoon bone dry thanks to my Goretex kit and much less danger of ending up face down on the tarmac after finding some ice. I'd actually say it was quite an enjoyable commute

I'm also very glad I refitted my airbox snorkel and ACF50'd all my connectors the other week.

I'm not sure why IC3 is that bothered we all know there will be another Clov!s bike along shortly :p

Want a decent bike cleaning kit. Something to foam up and cover the entire bike and rinse off, and something to clean the tougher spot, bugs and grease etc.
Suggestions? Go!

I don't know about foamy stuff but Sdoc100 is the best stuff I've ever used when it comes to the really tough muck.

I normally use muc off spray on the bodywork, then Sdoc around the swingarm/linkages/brakes.

I'm not that bothered, its just not logical going through all the hassle selling the bike, buying another one going through insurance etc.

I know someone who changes bike more often than you, but he makes profit on them. :p

People who were brave enough to ride in this weather... You have my respect!

I'll ride in any weather so long as it's not freezing. I have an outside thermometer and if it's below 3c, i'll think twice.

Bilt hamber foam is the best stuff, not cheap though.

Cheers.

I have a Karcher, can you use these foamers in the shampoo bottle bit?

It's still mild with a touch of frost so not to bad.

We need some old school weather like years back ... :p

No idea where you are but in Bristol its is torrential rain. :(

It's not riding it's sailing :p I am wishing I'd remembered my Nikwax visor proof this morning though as my manual finger wiping just wasn't quite enough.

Yeah it's not nice out at all. I was happy sat in traffic on my way to work this morning. That rain would not have been enjoyable. Definitely going to have to put away my 'honest, it's road legal' visor now. May have to look into the wax you're on about. Pinlock only gets you so far!

Its ok at the moment, the wet weather has increased the temp :D

Yeah it's not too cold. But I'd take cold and dry over soaking and mild

I had my first thumbs up from a non-motorcyclist today. Some guy on a peddle bike pulled over to let me past, then grinned crazily at me with his thumb up.

Whilst I like to think it was because my bike is awesome, it was probably respect for riding in the deluge which was occurring :D.

The last time the weather was this bad and I ended up riding down the A449 behind a wall of water I stopped for a chat with a guy on a Vespa that had just done the same thing.

Still the only scootay rider I nod to because it was touch and go for me so I can't imagine what it was like on one of those little things!
