I "legally" download blueray copys etc etc and watch thru plex.

Cant tell me that these dont compete with physical media when the original source is the same? I realise this isnt a discussion thread but genuinely interested

Only the same when you are downloading a straight 40-50GB bluray rip, few people have the storage space or bandwidth to download this volume of data in a reasonable time.

There is still no legal way to download a straight bluray rip (I would pay for this) and 4k bluray encryption hasn't been broken yet either.

New monitor calibrator as my old Spyder Pro has died:

Could do with one of these. I remember years back the spyder (?) doing the rounds. Paying it forward each time. Now I have several screens and change now and again it would be handy

Never bothered with calibrating anything that way, always do it by eye these days and seems to work great
