Hello. So I just removed my battery to giv it a charge with my Carpoint 4 amp charger and I noticed that the 5 amp fuse that goes in the underside of the charger has blown. Could I use a 10 amp or 7.5 amp fuse instead? Thanks

No. You might as well just wrap the old fuse in tinfoil and bodge it properly.
If it's blown a 5amp fuse sticking something double the rating in there is going to put you at very real risk of needing to call the fire service.

At work if i find any Plugs with more than 5A i PAT fail them :P

Seems a bit daft considering it's completely dependent on what those plugs are attached to.

A 5A fuse in a kettle/toaster isn't going to get you very far.

It has a 5A fuse for a reason.

At my work place they PAT tested all the electric items in my workshop and I had to dump everything that fail straight away or get it fixed before using again (He cut the leads or plugs off everything that failed)..

He then PAT tested the computers in the office and most them failed and there still using them a few months later..
