my GF loves this show.
i think it is possibly the dullest thing i have ever watched.
First episode. Full on ....
Just get to the last episode and kill that Negan guy and start the next series. The rest in between is complete BS

Quick one .....before I get onto the main topic of this thread. Breaking Bad does not suck and from the end of Season 3 to the climax at Season 5 its probably the best TV around.

Anyway onto TWD. As others have mentioned it was another poor episode where not a lot happened. It seems to be building itself up the mid season climax which will probably be (my opinion only):

Carl's attack on the Saviour's camp where he kills a number of them before Negan's intervention.

Too many differing storylines and the real problem for me is that I dont give a **** about most of them. The only characters I am really interested in seeing are Rick, Carl, Negan, Carol, Rosita and perhaps Daryl. Next week seems to be all about Tara, and I fail to understand her relevance to the show.

On to Maggie. Had a discussion about her yesterday with a friend who follows the show. I have never considered her to be remotely attractive. Perhaps its the makeup in the show that makes it look like she is always pale and crusty. Or perhaps its her annoying Southern drawl. That being said my friend did comment one thing to me which made me laugh by popping up on my watch mid meeting. Not sure I agree with him though!

It's an apocalypse, you're not going to expect people to be all dressed up :p

I first saw Lauren Cohan in Supernatural and she looked hotter in that :p

P.s forgot about Tara!

Looks like it'll be another anti-climax as we reach the mid-season finale..

There was an interview that I saw with Lauren a while back and I was genuinely pleasantly surprised that she has a British accent.

She did look somewhat ok in that interview.

Another irritating character is Gregory at the Hilltop, damn irritating, as far as I am concerned I wouldnt be displeased if he gets the bat in a later episode. Also I recognize the actor (suppose I could google it) but he has been in decent stuff before, but in this show it looks like he is taking the *** with how bad his performances are.
 
Guys we could ask these questions all day long.. Reality is they have a budget and not every fine detail is going to be right.
 
Sorry if this old news but I was kind of gobsmacked to find Trevor Philips from GTA V in it. Was only half watching it doing some bits on the laptop but I heard the voice and thought, "that sounds like Trevor". Turned to look at the screen and not only did it sound like Trevor, it looked like Trevor and the character even had the same mannerisms as Trevor. Quick check on Wikipedia confirmed the great and good Steven Ogg playing the part of Simon.

Not sure why I haven't noticed before!
