UK to censor online videos of 'non-conventional' sex acts

Jokes aside, this is beginning of the 'thought police' , where the state begins to start tellings its population what is ok to think , and what is not ok think, its a dangerous road to start going down....1984.

Hate pr0n with a passion, but I still use a VPN by principle. Gets around Youtube's country restrictions and helps a bit with VM's traffic shaping.

Screw you gov't.

Yours truly,

Pr0nless Engame.

No doubt everyone will acquiesce as usual.
Yep. It's planned that way. It's a psychological certainty.

What happens is anyone who does enjoy such acts, is naturally too ashamed to object, anyone who doesn't enjoy said acts, is not going to say anything anyway, no one's going to start protesting for their right see someone weeing!

The main thing to remember is that these people are NOT magically cured of their deviation simply through governmental bannage! That is vital to always remember! There is no scheme to help people who are into wee or whatever.

What happens is the people who do enjoy such acts are simply driven to underground channels (remember they haven't been cured!). Where they are bunched together with criminals, and potentially exposed to actual criminality. Thereby increasing overall criminality, social de-cohesion, etc.

This just part of a massive psychological operation.

I'm not sure that people need to be 'cured' of any sexual interest that doesn't harm others.

The rest of your point seems to be straying into CT territory also.

Actually no, water sports, hand things (am trying to be family friendly) ;)
are perfectly legal, its bestiality, pedophilia, indecent exposure in public and necrophilia that are illegal.

Everything else is fair game, the is tonnes of stuff about sexual fantasies or preferences on the internet.

Are you certain?
I don't mean illegal, as I said, i though you currently couldn't make pornographic sale in the uk of things on this list already?
In physical media?
Someone once linked many months ago to the bbfc or whoever list of what can and can't be sold on video currently, and I thought most of this stuff was on this list.

As i said earlier, not sure how i feel about the decision.

Different strokes for different folks... unless you live in the UK, in which case it's straight up Victorian missionary because we told you so.

Wait, so squanching is cool also?

Squanch Yeah man!

Frankly I don't see what point there is in this legislation, besides the precedent that controlling our private behaviors presents. VPN it is then. I imagine the big tube sites will just branch all of the banned stuff into a different URL.
