Does anyone actually enjoy going out on a bike in this weather?

Yep! My commute is mostly heavy city traffic, so the bike is always preferable.

Last night this happened just before my commute:

Absolute gridlock on the way home, but I happily filtered .

Yeah I commute as it's a 15 min ride (If I take the direct route home) or 30 mins+ in the car. Still enjoy riding as well....it's riding!

They are Berring gloves. It's been on the border of me switching and then it warmed up again so didnt bother

I still have a pair of aqua winter gloves which are over 20 years old but still keep me warm when you become older your hands turn to leather I used to feel the cold when younger but not so much now after so many winters you just switch off and kick into auto mode.

Just make sure your handlebar clamp bolts are M8.

How did you check? I'll take one out but I doubt it'll have any markings on, most bike bolts I've worked with have been M5.

Just checked, you won't be able to use that mount as your dash covers the bar clamp bolts:

There might be a different mount you can use, otherwise it's a normal bar clamp.

Well don't go by that then as I'm pretty sure I've not used a single M5 bolt anywhere on my SV and I've replaced most of them

I think I was taking it too easy hence why I didn't enjoy the ride as much. Went out with one of my mates yesterday for a 2 hour ride at night and apart from couple moments when my rear was sliding all over the place it was fun.

Clear skies today so rode my bike for the first time in a week. Oh how I've missed the feeling of making direct eye contact and glaring with disdain at drives who try and pull out in front of you.

I find a little head shake as well really gets their backs up, strange how they can notice that but not the eye wateringly bright set of headlights bearing down on them beforehand.

If I feel really agitated I find along with a head shake if you combo in a upturned left hand as if to say 'WTF was that/are you doing' you get maximum shots fired.

Any recommendations for gopro handlebar mounts? I'd like to get some shots of myself and the background, there's too much choice!

Few ideas for you there..
