US: **The Walking Dead Season 7 - Contains Spoilers - No future content to be discussed **

To those moaning about not following the main group, you realise they're only out scavenging for supplies right now anyway.

If anything this episode filled in the "what happened to tara" question (although where are heath and the camper van). it also found another group with arms capable of taking a fight to negan (if all of the groups combined).

filler episode not bad . it would be great to have episodes like opening season or end ones each time but that cant happen.

Haters gonna hate  :D

At first I thought this group are going to play a part in helping to take on the saviours especially after seeing their mini arsenal but as the episode went on, it was clear what the message of this episode was and even more so with the ending where Tara lied about not seeing any weapons etc.

Did you not pay attention? :p

Can't say I did tbh, was browsing while watching, Tara bores the life out of me and there's no way she "loves to run" :p

Agreed this was a boring episode, however I believe we are seeing these other groups for a reason. At some point, Rick is going to take the fight to Negan and it will be these groups who will help out.

Hopefully we start to see Rick realise he has options to fight back, and this season finally has some purpose. I think there will be another butchering before then through.

I thought it was a better episode than the one last week. Did the black guy survive?

Tara has some nice knockers :p

you guys know she just had a kid IRL huh ... cut the chick some slack ...

I enjoyed the episode - never really liked her as a character but my feelings changed after seeing this episode.

sooo boring so far. i mean they could have done all that in 20mins tops.

i really thought this season was going to be good but last season started a lot stronger than this.

People really can't stand a bit of storyline! If they didn't build up some new backstories we'd be stuck with mopey Rick and when things did actually happen there'd be no excitement as there wouldn't have been any build up. You want mindless violence, go play PS4.

They could have made the point of that episode in about 10-15 minutes. A whole episode wasn't required and was just a waste of time and boring as ****.

Yup the actress playing Tara had a baby in real life so that is probably why she's a bit on the chubby side :p And that is why we haven't seen much of her at all since last season.

I don't see why Rick's group wouldn't do this themselves tbh...

Too risky:

- with Rick's group being new to the saviours and Negan seeing what they are/were capable of doing, chances are, they probably have people keeping an eye on them, at least that is what I would be doing if I were in Negan's shoes
- even though they are under Negan's thumb, being at Alexandria is far better than where they were before i.e. just going from spot to spot with little to no food, water or other supplies

People really can't stand a bit of storyline! If they didn't build up some new backstories we'd be stuck with mopey Rick and when things did actually happen there'd be no excitement as there wouldn't have been any build up. You want mindless violence, go play PS4.

This.

The writers have time and time again said that this show was never going to be about mindless zombie gore and action as that has been done to death, they wanted to do something different, a bit like what the director wanted to do with Arnie's film, Maggie. They have said from the very start that this show will always be sorely about character development, any thing that happens i.e. zombie stuff or brutal killings/deaths etc. are just a catalyst for further character development.
