Healthy Hot food snack for lunch

Any kind of homemade soup, stew, curry reheats well in a microwave and are healthy.

No microwave.

There is one in the communal staffroom area...But that would mean conversation with people I don't like and a hike across the unknown in the cold :p

Have you ever had to wait 3 mins for something to heat in the microwave with forced conversation?

Its horrendous ! Its a lifetime! :p

No ...really needs to be a self contained hot lunch with headphones on and music....:p

here is easiest option

what you will need.

2 slices of bread
some butter or margarine
a wallet

first take out the bread , take a knife and butter each slice.
2nd take the wallet and once opened remove a new £5 note and place on bread.

its a very healthy option.:D

Stick it in a Thermos in the morning, should still be hot by lunch.

Have a Tuna/Chicken/Ham salad sandwich on whole meal bread, plus a cup of tea if you want something warm. Not really many options since you can't negotiate yourself through small talk with work colleagues to have access to a microwave.

Mmmm, dinner money!! :p

Get some of those LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURVERLY British Army ratpacks - The Arctic issue ones are probably best. It's all dehydrated stuff, because snow (and thus water) is meant to be plentiful, so would work great if all you have is a kettle.... but TBH, even the regular foil bag ones can be boiled in the kettle, if needs be.

Check out Tilda's and Uncle Ben's quick microwave rice that come in sachets, they are really nice, the Tilda have been on sale for a £1 at Waitrose.

Just buy a cheap microwave to keep at your desk.
