What PC games are you playing?

The game is just extremely repetative and far too easy, i dont understand why it's got such high review scores.

I started on the hardest difficulty ('realistic') and pretty much walked the entire game with the stun pistol, which you aquire soon after starting the game.

I didnt need to buy any addition guns. Didnt need to buy any cars or bikes. pointless picking up any of the cash drops because you never spend it. You loot items everytime you steal a car, which you can trade in at a pawn shop but again its a waste of time as you dont need the cash for anything.

Causing chaos and destruction is fun for a while until you realise there's pretty much no reprocussions; If you die you usually spawn in the same place, minus any cops or gang members who were chasing you at the time (they just vanish) and with no penalty (no cash taken, weapons removed ect. nothing).

You can loose cops and gang members by hiding in plain sight and once the timer's up they just forget what you look like and disperse.

There's no online racing, the online hacking seems pointless (and more annoying than iut was in the first game), nobody ever seems to play bounty/bounty hunter. There are leaderboards but they reset every 2 weeks or so:confused:

Most of the missions all feel extremely similar - hack this CToS box, get information off that laptop / phone / pc, unlock this door buy hacking that switch over there.

Vehicle handling is improved, but both games were still better than gta iv in that department anyway so not exactly the worst games for handling.

I enjoyed the first thoroughly, despite its flaws. Yes it was dialed back etc but i wasnt interested in that, I just enjoyed the game for what it was. This though, waste of time. It's just not as fun.

Links 2003, great game, hundreds of free courses to download, totally moddable and runs on windows 10 after a patch which adds widescreen support etc.

Just started a carrerr based on the 2016 players and tour. Graphically it holds up fine but the playability is great.

Now on the final boss on Darksiders. This game has been excellent fun! Even hardest level doesn't seem that hard.

One of the longest games I've played through anyway.

Titanfall 2 – brilliant

Single Player – best single player campaign I’ve played in a fair while. It’s relatively short, but it’s quality.

Multiplayer – excellent so far. Fast paced hardcore parkour gameplay as Pilot. As Titan, pretty epic at times.

My game of the year so far.

Wolfenstein: The new order - Heard great things. Only halfway through first mission and already a little bored. I will give it a chance, hoping it picks up.

Yeah, nearly finished this, I'm at the boss battle. I have loved and loathed it in equal measure. It feels like HL2 meets the new DooM. For a fiver it has been an enjoyable enough romp. I don't know if there is a modding community but it feels like there is so much potential for it, but the actual experience is quite linier. Searching for the secrets and Easter eggs has been enjoyable and just the overall aesthetic and idea behind the game has kept me interested.

I'll give it a proper chance next week.

Rebel Galaxy - a very lightweight, grinder, of a space trading / combat / ship upgrade game. Cost me just over a quid on g2a and is proving, £ per hours played, to be more entertaining than the witcher 3! Its a lot of fun in a simple grindfest sort of way.

Currently getting my anorak on in Transport Fever.

Recently kicked the Elite: Dangerous habit and given its current ragged state I won't be back till 2.3 :(

Still not playing Civ 6. It just hasn't tempted me at all.

Wondering if it's the right time to get Hearts of Iron 4.

Thanks for that, 92p on G2A, downloading now!

For all the bad stuff I hear about VM, they keep upgrading us for free and never had a problem with them

Did the same over 6 months ago. Can't see being back anytime soon, which is a shame, but it's a complete grind fest and all over the shop IMO at present.

Currently spending time between: -

Transport Fever (No anorak, yet :D )
World of Warships
World of Tanks
Mini Metro
Life is Strange

Shadowrun: Dragonfall.

There's no tutorial, and I keep failing the first mission (on Normal diff). Not sure I can be arsed, tbh. Looks like a massive timesink. Learning curve is massive.

In my youth I would probably have loved it, but these days I'm just looking for something easy to get into and fun. I probably wouldn't give Baldur's Gate time of day these days. Just too old for these type I games, I guess.

I've been playing Motorsport Manager recently :D Really enjoying it! The UI is beautiful, and easy to use. When you get a podium finish it really feels well earnt! Just won the championship for the European Racing Series for Team and for my top driver! Stayed in the same division, and will be working hard to upgrade buildings this next season :D

I've got 6, 7 & 8 and although I haven't tried any of them out for long periods of time, I can't say that I enjoyed the experience much. It tends to be the more modern reincarnations of games like Dungeon Master that appeal to me most (Legend of Grimrock and others). I'm willing to take a look at any titles within that sort of genre, though.

I guess I should give Wizardry 8 one more shot before I forget about it completely - (though I can't bear the comments that your party members make during battle).

Dungeon master is still the best in my opinion even after all these years it's still a blast to play even now and carry your party through to the much harder game chaos strikes back. I've completed grimlock 1 and 2 and eob but Dungeon master is still the best in my opinion even after all these years.
You can download dungeon master and chaos strikes back for free working on any operating system pc. It's called return to chaos, also has dungeon master 2.
