Show Us Your Motors!

Thanks Ricochet :)

The same as the standard SE trim (electric windows, electric adjust door mirrors with heaters, air conditioning, 6 speakers, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, cruise control, steering wheel audio/media controls, lane departure warning)

But it also gets:

1.0 Turbo engine (normally an upgrade option)
16" alloy wheels
7" touchscreen navigation system with 7 year tomtom live subscription and 10 years of map updates with reversing camera.
Automatic headlights
Wing mirror mounted indicators

I grabbed the red pearl paint version.

All for a slight bit less than the SE trim. It will cost £20 a year to tax after the first year, the insurers were not too spooked by the turbo in the name either, about £100 more per year over the i10.

The 0-62 for the 99BHP is 10.7 seconds (10.2 for the 1.0 119BHP but only in premium trim and above costing and extra 3k total).

Nothing to go racing on but quick enough on the motorway especially coming from a 1.2 12.3 second 0-62.

Adz once again making me envious :p wouldn't know what car to take out each day...

Also are we still doing dirty bum photos? Ok it still looks silver, I just felt left out.

Can a 1l overtake? :D

My lovely 1l with 66bhp when new (so 12 now) can overtake easily when most people on the motorway are scared of going over 50, might take 5 miles to do it but thankfully I'm on the motorway for about 10.

You don't hang around do you

There has only really been 7-10 days so far that have been cold enough for winter tyres to make any sense.

I'd suggest driving to the conditions rather than looking for better wet weather performance. I've not noticed any particular traction problems.

Ha! :D Wanted desperately to go on a quick Euro jaunt in it so took it for a short but spirited drive to Bruges and Ypres. Very much looking forward to doing a full Euro trip in it in spring next year

Why not. At least it was a good reason for not going top piston heads on Sunday. I really need to do a trip in something other then that diesel pug some time.
