Seems to be Die Welt thats running with that, well more like jogging and then The Washington Times turning it into it 100% being a Pakistani asylum seeker and really running with it.

Your argument doesn't explain the unprovoked attacks in the non-western world by muslims.. Boko Haram in northern Nigeria, Garissa University College attack in Kenya, ISIS trapping the Yazidis in the Iraqi mountains - the list goes on.
 
Sad times. I cant help but feel glad i live in the UK our security services must be on the ball, surely we are a high priority target yet we seem to be fairing well.

My argument wasn't to explain unprovoked attacks. I just found Dowie's comment an odd one to make.

Just because I brought up something about Muslims being attacked doesn't mean I'm pro Muslims attacking elsewhere. Of course the genocide of Yazidis in Iraq is disgusting but you are leaving out that the Islamic State are also killing other Muslims, just like Boko Haram.

As for unprovoked attacks... Who knows, cant blame it on Islam though... The KKK were extreme Protestants and would have no issue killing Catholics but we dont rally around to condemn all Christians right?
 
Can anyone confirm if the Berlin market had any concrete barriers up, similar to those currently being used in Birmingham?

Whether it would have stopped a HGV of course is a different question.

On Radio 4 on the way in this morning they reported that the suspect captured was either of Pakistani or Afghan origin and entered Germany as a refugee in February. So let's not blame the refugee crisis, let's blame Europe's handling of it particularly Mütter Merkel.

My girl was there last week and she doesn't remember any barriers. The barriers probably would have offended someone.
