Is there an end game to this or as long as you want?
Is it worth the hype? It looks slightly "FarmVille"
Whats this like on remote play on the vita?
Thinking about buying it to play over xmas while visiting family and friends
Everything levels up the more you do it. Fishing gets a lot easier but there will still be special ones that jump all over the place.![]()
Is there an endless mode? Used to hate the 3y cycle on harvest moon because I didn't want to abandon my farm.
This or farming simulator?
Looking for a chill out game I can play over long periods of time when I'm done raging with FIFA,BF1 etc
Making a nice profit on fishing, level 6 now and have a few good spots where I get gold star fish nearly every catch.
Put about 15 silver/gold fish in my chest and made a nice 2500g in a day.
This for sure. No idea what Farming simulator is like, but if it's like the other simulators, then it's probably not as good as Stardew Valley. For those who are trying to figure out what it is, it's a lot like Harvest Moon. You get a large plot of farmland that needs to be cleaned up, you can put buildings on it and have livestock and farm crops of course. Even more you can build machines to process the crops animal goods. I.e. you can make beer, cheese and even mayonnaise in this game.
There's other things to do besides farming too, like fishing, exploring the mines and mining ore/killing monsters. You can interact with villagers, give them gifts, do quests, become best friends and of course, get married and have kids. This game can go very deep and is still getting updates. The last one added quite a lot to it.
And on PC... it's very moddable
Edit:
That's the idea. There are certain spots where if you cast the line out the max, you'll always get gold fish. It's usually the furthest bits from the shore. Make sure you explore the mines. Level 20 you can get some nice fish that sell for 500g (though I swear those fish used to sell for more, perhaps a recent update nerfed the sale prices?). Level 60 you get one that sells for around 750g and level 100 you get one that sells for 1k a pop. They can be tricky to catch though.
Hmm maybe I should just stick with it then.. literally just cleared out the front lawn of boulders and crap, fell unconscious, got charged 50 quid for the hospital bill, and thought screw this. (I was admittedly having a bad day)
