I'm struggling to justify buying a PS4 Pro. Ideally I'd like to buy the console tomorrow to treat myself over the Christmas break.
The PS4 Pro 1 TB + No Games = £350.00
The PS4 Slim 1TB + 3 Games = £280.00
I won't be upgrading my 1080p TV until 2018 at the earliest.
Hasn't there also been reported issues where the pro runs games in 1080p worse than a regular PS4??
Next year I might want to do VR. I hear it's okay on the PS4 Slim but better on the PS4 Pro. Let's see how that turns out.
Price is the issue. I set myself an arbitrary budget of £300 to buy a new console.
I think it's disgusting £350 buys you just a PS4 Pro and no games.
Then you spend £50 on a game.
Then you spend £50 on a control pad to play with your wife.
Then you spend £50 on membership to play with strangers on the internet.
By the time you get setup what should have been a £350 console is now a £500 console.

Slim. The Pro is a complete waste of money unless you have a 4K TV.

People slamming the pro for being a waste of money, either don't have a 4K tv, or don't have a pro.
It's worth the extra couple of quid regardless of having a 4K tv or not.
