God I hate Christmas. Went to town earlier to try and buy a gift box to put the girlfriends presents in. Couldn't find one so I've spent the past hour making a box. No to put the presents in it and I'm done.
 
About to go to ASDA

Praying for it not being busy......

I may be some time and its been nice knowing some of you, others not so much.
 
Part of me wants to buy a Mac Book Pro just because the OS is great for my work flow :o

I hate that I need dongles and I think it's hilarious - But the OS just works so much nicer :o

The issue is, I wouldn't want to go half measures so it'd need to be i7 with 16GB RAM etc etc and the prices are eye watering

I have the new 13" with touch bar (16gig) and did a lot of research. There's basically no point going for an upgraded processor unless you routinely do lots of quad core tasks... they aren't any faster for the single core stuff (I.e most routine tasks). So that's a bit saved.

To be honest it's been a bit of a crap month for me pay wise because I'm not salary paid it's been a 3 week month. However next month I might take a look at the MM and see what's about... I probably don't need a laptop and could get away with the Mac Mini but I'm sure I'll shoot myself in the foot if I don't go for the mobile option.

Oh and I have my rig at home (i7 6700k/16GB/SSDs etc) work horse and a work laptop (i5 something, 16GB RAM, 260GB SSD) and a work Surface Pro... So another laptop probably isn't necessary but I love OS X :o

I quite fancy putting one in a dock and just running on it when I do some work from home :o

I have a Macbook pro I don't even use, haven't switched it on since October :p
