Porsche - Suspension setup and refresh. Possibly fit air induction kit that takes out the sound deadener and gives the airbox 1/3 extra space. Want to get rear wheels refurbed and couple of rear tyres I think. Also get cabriolet roof looked at. Get it serviced by Porsche and looked over. Fit braided brake lines, change fluid.
Then sell it. I've had a Porsche 911 so that's one off the bucket list.
Might get a Oettinger rear spoiler as the current OE looks a bit small.
DTUK Pedalbox to get rid of the sometimes annoy pedal lag i get when pressing on a bit.
I would quite like it to just work for a few months in a row so I can pretty much forget all about doing anything other than using it for a family bus and having it serviced.
Depending on its performance at this momentous task it may or may not survive in my ownership beyond March, which could be very expensive given the amount spent on it and it's relatively low worth, but I've had about enough
Take it on a European road trip. Tempted to drive it through Germany over to Italy then head back along the south of France then back up through France. Make a couple of weeks of it with some nice stops
Hopefully, looking at a new exhaust with ECU remap (Or equivalent), which should bring the power from 190 to around 250-260. Maybe a new set of tyres, will see.
Get rid of some of the exterior chrome. Both front and rear light rings will be first. Might also change the fuel cap, but I do want to keep some of the chrome so I'll just wait and see how it looks.
I may also change the rear spoiler to the JCW one. Kind of kicking myself now as I would have gotten it cheaper when ordering the car.
New brake pads, discs, fluid and braided lines (just for a refresh more than anything)
Lowering springs/coilovers and stub axle spacers
Remap
Trackdays
And then little bits to finish off the car (retrimmed steering wheel, gearknob etc)
By March I hope to have it replaced with something faster. I have to do test drives as my shortlist is a mish-mash of sorts, basically just cars I really want to own at some point with no actual logic to them:
Been thinking of a new exhaust setup and remap to add a bit of character to the engine, and to try and alleviate it's biggest problem, that of the "torque dip" in the mid range. I'm due a service at Abbey Motorsport within the next couple of months, so while it's in I'm going to speak to them about some options...seems the best option might be a new header, high flow cat and a remap. It will first time I've dabbled with engine mods on a car.
As of June my car will owe me pretty much nothing, as my work car allowance will have covered what I paid for the car in the first place. Being a 320d though it's a case of whether the timing chain goes before then or not, but if it makes it that far I predict it'll be on about 160k by then, we'll see.
I suspect I'll end up buying something new anyway though. Alas, my annual mileage (30-35k) puts me in 2.0d territory so I'm going to have to see what I can find that's a diesel with half decent fuel economy and at least 180bhp as I don't want anything slower than what I've already got.
