ETA but at £5k I'd hope they'd not write it off

Damage appears to be:

Bumper
1x kidney (came out on impact, not hit)
Wing
Undertray
Arch liner
Bonnet repair
Possibly headlight as scuffed and poss a clip bust
Fog light and trim
Front sensors...

I've contacted Europa who looked after me well for a non-fault prang 6 years ago, hopefully have a car to use soon! Car drives (straight and with no warning lights) but bodywork/wing is catching on the tyre so can't really drive it far.

Cooper Tonbridge wells did some good work back then, Chappell did some touching up a few years ago and it's gone down in quality a little IMO. Any decent body shop recommendations around SE London/Kent?
 
Would like to fit an inter-cooler, Ideally a Safari Systems one (LC80 4.2TD)

I also really need to deal with some bodywork issues on the LC80.

There are some corroded areas that need to be dealt with before they get too bad.

I also have an old E36 compact coupe that needs work (Mainly on suspension issues, rear axle/sub-frame needs re-building in particular)

There was a high mileage, private sale estate for £3k but had some issues.
 
That is properly insane money... For the 530i's in particular! Though from the little thumbnail, the black one looks nice. :p

I'd buy it on the basis that it looks good in that tiny image.
 
I think that 540i's price is inflated of course, but I can't see a 130K mile car being 'worth' half what a 70K mile car is 'worth'.
 
the reality is that you should be able to replace it with a like-for-like car with the amount they pay back..

540's being rare you need to be asking a decent amount, I'd say 7-8k is the figure rather than 5k which will get you a decent 530i.
 
Amarok: Nothing
Rexton: Replace tyres, full service, respray wiper arms, new license plate number, fit chip and k&n, upgrade bulbs, swap out stereo with one that has Bluetooth, fit new matts and full clean inside out.
