Sad but not unexpected.

Bear in mind that "celebrities" have been much more accessible over the last few decades, and those celebrities have been getting older. We're going to see this more and more.

There will always be early deaths (eg. George Michael) like there is in non-celeb land. Probably more as there is often a drug lifestyle element.
 
I really do recommend that you read her books, or listen to the audiobooks. Wishful Drinking, Shockaholic and Princess Diarist. All excellent.

ty, will need to check those out.

Many don't realise that she was one of Hollywoods biggest script doctors...
she saved a lot of scripts from development purgatory, quite a few of them well-known.
 
My heart sank as I heard this news....60 years of age is young these days....not really sure what to type...damn.
 
RIP Carrie, you had an remarkable influence on me when i was a kid growing up, being a huge fan of the Star Wars Trilogy as a kid.

Genuinely gutted. :(
 
I see the Dr overclockers men are out saying drugs lifestyle etc are to blame, does it really matter what your vice was in your life.
