Well that sucks
I've only used the game a few times, and it's quite a niche game. Seems a waste to throw it away.
I suppose I could sell him the cable for a fiver for a guitar to pc usb interface.
But the game is junk in terms of transferring licence/ownership?

Often wondered about this when you see pc games such as Battlefield 3/4/Hardline for sale in places such as CEX (and they usually have multiple copies on the shelf) surely these are all tied to the Origin account they were originally installed on (assuming they've been installed and activated) there must be some way around it otherwise I very much doubt CEX would take them in as surely they've have had people returning them saying they couldn't install?

I use my local stores often for cheap games and Blu Rays etc but make a point of avoiding anything tied to Origin or Steam, that said, I traded a load of old games in including a copy of Alien vs Predator which I'd bought from a boot sale and they rejected it as it would be tied to Steam which it indeed was - despite having numerous copies of BF Hardline on the shelf- I guess it comes down to the knowledge and / or scruples of the person taking in the trade in....
