Samsung SM961 Polaris 128GB

I was wondering if one of your drives were failing, but it sounds like it may have been either a driver or software issue now. It would annoy me until I discovered what it was.

It has been annoying me, in fact ive been pulling my hair out over the past few months with storage issues.

Touch wood it's sorted now. Just hope it does not play silly again in the future. I mean i would not be to bothered by it if i actually had decent performance but for instance once i turned the pc on and got to the desktop it would take 15-20 seconds for stuff like sticky notes and steam to turn on.

windows write-cache buffering flushing on the device is turned off, but i think this is to prevent data loss :)
Do you mean turned on? (as-in the checkbox is not ticked) Turning it off will give you significantly better write performance in benchmarks but from what I have read - don't check this box unless you have UPS like the warning message says.

Yes it is turned off as in it's actually turned on. (they should word it better) I don't particularly care for the fastest benchmarks i just wanted the speed advertised not 600mb/s slower and more importantly i wanted it to run smoothly unlike what it was doing :).

Seems pretty nice for now going to keep my eyes on it though.
