Hello guys,

Recently i purchased MX300 750Gb SSD to replace my old 128Gb crucial disc,
I have installed new windows on it and run few benchmarks to test the if the write/read speeds are as specified. Running AS SSD benchmark i achieved only 330/250 speed in sequential option. That does not seem to be right, does anyone know how to increase the speed?

advertised speed is based on sata3, going from your signature, you will only have sata2.

Anyway, benchmarks are meaningless, does it feel fast when booting/loading programs on the ssd?

Yes you are right i have sata 2 , I didn't think that would have such an impact on performance. The booting is fast comparable to the 128gb version that i had before.
I also have 750Gb version in the office with sata 3, just checked the performance and is 480+/480+ read and write on the same sample size 1gb.

I went online and i have found guide for to set up SSD for windows 10, i.e stop window search etc. I have noticed that my storage is set up as Raid instead of AHCI in bios, I still have two HDD set up as RAID 0(Intel speed) When i tried to change the setting to AHCI i could not boot up windows even thou the boot settings were correct(SSD with windows 1 position) AHCI is it crucial to use with SSD or there is another way to go around it?

If you change your motherboard from RAID to AHCI, your Windows install will not be able to read your RAID0 anymore.

You could reinstall with AHCI (you'd need to set up your normal HDDs as well), but tbh, the difference in speed isn't going to be noticable, especially as your SSD is connected by Sata2.
