How does murdering someone change that?
Also go here and sirt the table by murder rate.

Isn't india a poor country? Yet it has 1/10th the murder rate than S.A....
There are a number of cultural and historic differences between the 2 countries though.
India had a 50 year lead on Independence from British rule vs the end of Apartheid and the first black government in SA.
Yes, a caste system still operates in India, but it is not government sactioned like Apartheid in SA was.
The British Empire also treated Indians far better than white South Africans did blacks.
The fact that the ANC has failed to deliver on it's promises for the past 20 years also creates swathes of disenfranchised and disgruntled black people, many of whom still blame this on the white people, and who adopt an every-man-for-himself way of life.
Then you have the tribal issues.
And the migrants from bordering countries.
So yes, there are more geo-political differences than what is going on in India, but a big difference is that the SA government has made promises of a better life for black people which hasn't happened, so people are angry. Sadly, it's almost as if many of the poor in India just accept their lot, possibly because they weren't fed false promises for 2 decades.
