Dying Light

I had no knowledge of this game when it came out, even until I bought it this weekend I didn't know much about it. Why? I have no idea, because I LOVE IT!

I got it for around £21 on the Russian Xbox store and so far that's looking like an absolute bargain.

I'm only a few hours in, around level 5-6 I think. But I'm really impressed with it so far and can't wait to level up more. It's proper scary at night as well!

I was going to get this at release and have always wanted to play it but I saw a fair few threads saying about the game making them feel ill. I know some games can make players feel dizzy after a while, and certain games do the same to me so It put me off buying this.

I fired it up again at the weekend and hoped for some new stuff but nothing really. I have completed 100% of the campaign and Finished The Following :( Love the game but I cant be bothered doing the poster challenges.

oh.. I WANT A SNIPER RIFLE!!! Oh and a SUPRESSOR :D

Have you tried a second play through on hard? recently did this and loved it even more than the first time! might tackle nightmare next

It really is a great game, fingers crossed for Dying Light 2 :)

How does this run on PS4? I've tried the demo and to me it felt sub-30fps so I've been holding off buying it. Today, it just came back to me that I still haven't got round to it.

I played it entirely on my own with no coop. Once you get some mad weapons its pretty easy to kill hoards or zombies. Even the volatiles are not hard to avoid by getting to places they cannot get and shoot barrels etc.

Loved the game, I hope there is similar/sequel on the horizon.

If you get this then you need to play it in co-op. Playing solo is extremely difficult. And also not as much fun.

I breezed through it on single player. :)

The only mission I struggled on, was running into that tower block and doing something in there that required you to race against the clock (I think they were demolishing it with explosives ) and you had to be in and out within a certain time. Whilst avoiding hordes of zombies on each floor. Much harder than it sounds as they give you a measly 2 or 3 minutes haha

Very frustrating. Other than that, incredible game.

Awesome game, completed the main quest, and the expansion quest (much swearing with the last battle!) - still find myself ploughing the hours into it though; I just love the setting, the atmosphere and the graphics.

Not really been out in the dark though, when I do find myself away from safety, I find an attic to hide in or tower to climb :D

Doesn't anyone else just sit hiding and antagonising the volatiles all night? I'll do that and get like 20 kills :p

LOL Yeah I loved that.. :D One of the bits where you had to get a Bolter Liver/Sample at night was pretty intense. I hid in a building where its feeding grounds was and then creeped up on him.

Great game, I remember the first time that I sidestepped and countered a zombie and proceeded to slice them straight down the centre!!!

Just finished this on the PS5. Really rather good. A solid 8/10. Graphics were excellent for an older game. So many brown trousers moments. Looking forward to the new one now!
