Neighbour took in a homeless guy

Oh this 'homeless' guy has turned up now after their original Daily Mail article with just a Facebook post screenshot and photos of them all dressed up.

I knew about it before anything was on Facebook and it is genuine if a little/very random.

Essex bimbo gets homeless guy as pet, realizes they act just like real people, gets bored and returns pet to streets.

Really? What have you ever done? The guy has moved in with her friends and has been given a full time job and once he has enough saved he can rent his own place.

There's surely more to this than we are told.

One minute they are facing a night on the cold streets because they miss the last train, then magically after realising how cold it is they are like nope, lets go home anyway, but lets take this guy with us.

The boyfriends face in this thumbnail says it all. She looks like the cat that got the cream too.

agreed! the bit that doesn't make sense is the fact that they couldn't get home but then decided to take a homeless guy home the same night?

how can you not get home with things like uber etc where 99% of young people use it.

Absolutely sweet F.A, except sit around judging peoples actions with my cynical hat on.

Anyways, I read her social media posts and stand by my observation :D

Very hard to determine who's a beggar and who's homeless. My sister is a lying thieving drug addict and as a result, she spends her time with other lying thieving drug addicts. They all have a studio flat each in the same place with very low rent set up by a charity to help drug addicts who are on benefits try and turn their lives around. Someone I used to go to school with is also in this situation and we were 'reunited' when he asked me for change while I was on my lunch break and recognised each other.

We talked and he told me of his situation and how he comes to this town where I work because he usually gets around 20 or 30 quid a day and the police don't hassle him. Well a few weeks later it seems they have all been coming here as word has obviously got out.

Really annoys me as they all have addresses and claim benefits so they have a chance, they could attempt to find work or make a positive change as they have an address and get their methadone from the doctor, are forced to attend classes designed to help but instead they choose to beg to support their habit and use methadone as well as heroin.

I would guess this is probably typical behaviour so you cant trust someone who sits in a doorway asking for change as chances are they aren't homeless and just have a habit they want you to pay for.

It stops me wanting to give anything to anyone begging. A genuinely homeless person who could really do with a bit of help, maybe a few quid short from renting a room for the night or a coffee will go without.

One thing ive learned is watch a homless person long enough and they'll take out an iphone

The guy was well known where I live and was a nice enough chap in his late 50s. When he died it turned out he had about £90k in the bank and left it to the council. This was the 80s, that's a lot of money!

Doesn't everyone in every town tell this same story:

The tramp who dies and then turns out he had loads of money.

Their habit is called a mortgage ;)

If you don't mind the moral side it pays better than a minimum wage job and is tax free - why wouldn't you? I doubt the 'professional' beggars are on drugs.

The people on drugs are the people who earn money the hard way and use them to get away from work life :p

Get a mix in the city here. Where they sit usually defines their actual housing status/intentions

Fat arab women - next to cash machines usually (bone idle)
Bums with addictions - outside supermarkets/walking the traffic (booze/drugs)
Pros - tourist areas/heavy foot traffic (housed)
Backpackers/hippies - outside fastfood places (food/drugs)

Sound like the people I see collecting their drugs from boots.... you can hear them moaning when the people giving them their free drugs are not giving it to them quick enough for their liking, such a great contribution to society they're making.

Id' sort the problem out a lot cheaper than its costing the taxpayer. I wouldn't even charge.

Nice one. Love stories like this. However, they are a lot braver than me inviting a strange homeless man into their home, but nice to see it all worked out.

However, part of me is wondering whether or not this was a bit of a swinger job. He's at it with his missus while the old mans sitting in the corner giving himself a little tug. You never know.

I wouldn't put it past anyone...

I had a guy I knew on facebook continuously bring up me boning his wife. He was like alright fella she's out tonight you gonna hit on her?

I was like 23 and his wife was like 30.... I only bring this up because other day I was reading old facebook messages laughing.

Edit: As Tefal said swinging isn't correct term, it's called hot wifing AFAIK. AKA a guy who lets other men bang his wife for his kicks....

Ots eother hot wifing or cuckholding depending on thier take on it.

Personally I wouldn't do it, a lot of genuine homeless cases have serious mental disability which is the reason why they can't handle working life
