Six dead in Quebec Mosque terror attack

Do you have a mental illness?

You are literally linking back to the page that the Snopes article is debunking as 'proof'

The actual inquiry is published here:
http://www.assemblee-nationale.fr/14/rap-enq/r3922-t2.asp

And I've run it through Google Translate for you
https://translate.google.com/transl...ssemblee-nationale.fr/14/rap-enq/r3922-t2.asp

And there is no mention of the crap you are posting. I really feel mods should start doing something about people posting horrible fake stuff, it's an insult to the families of the victims.

You know what? I don't really care that you insulted me, you're free to keep believing snopes if you want and I'll certainly give them a wide birth while they're putting political spin on their "fact checks".

As far as this thread is concerned, it's about yet another horrible terrorist attack, this Canada and what's important is that six people have tragically lost their lives thanks to the actions of one idiot. RIP victims :(

I'll certainly give them a wide birth while they're putting political spin on their "fact checks".

There's no such thing as political spin on a fact check. There are facts and there are falsehoods.

You're choosing to ignore a valid source of fact-checking because perhaps they've debunked something you previously thought to be true.

Which is why it is probably unsubstantiated and the BBC have removed reference to that until better evidence comes along.

Just goes to show how excited the BBC gets doesn't it with their "publish first, think later" attitude. And this is supposed to be a reputable media agency lmao :D. They just start writing crap with no fact checking or even a basic situational plausibility assessment. That paragraph literally stunk of BS as a reader, I cant imagine how retarded the reporters publishing this crap must be. Do they even understand media psychology, hell no, yet they're allowed to urinate into people's minds without any hindrance, all while their primary motive is to make money. lol.

They may have pulled this paragraph but there's still a lot of BS on the BBC even from years ago and will be continued to spew out into the future. Their reporting of the London City Airport Psychological Operation was unforgivably stupid, but that's still up, complete with the BS rehearsed phone call lol.

Also any link to this "chart" people are whining over? I cant seem to see any chart.

Has he claimed to have done it in the name of Christianity?

There is no such thing as doing anything in the name of something - humanity is way to self-centred and greedy for that - Even if he explicitly stated "I did it in the name of christianity" I would not believe it paired with the fact this guy would then be suffering from the god delusion, religious people lie to themselves all the time. You'd have to be some serious moral guru to be able to truly do something in something's name. Terror cannot be done in the name of one's religion, it is done in the name of that person because that person has a delusional belief that his actions will get him closer to god. It's purely personal. By doing something in the name of something they simply tarnish "that thing" and use it to get themselves (delusionally) closer to god.

You cant do something in the name of something when all you're doing is tarnishing the thing you're fighting for!

They tarnish their entire religion and everyone who follows it because they are greedy and have been deluded into thinking they can get closer to god.

Even Islamic terror isn't done "in the name of", it's pure delusional greed/personal. The only thing that is being done when someone does something "in the name of something" is psychological externalisation of their known atrocious behaviour. They tarnish their respective religion whether it's Christianity or Islam, fuelled by personal greed to get closer to god. And because all religion is the product of delusion, they cannot grasp the paradoxicality of their actions.

LOL using snopes as a source

How about

http://www.news.com.au/world/europe...s/news-story/c0cc809c303487541b985ef0e57992dd

WIDELY reported rumours about the alleged torture of victims in the Bataclan theatre massacre last November have been debunked.

The shocking claims made in testimony at a French inquiry in March resurfaced online following the Nice attack.

Two second-hand witnesses suggested Islamic State terrorists who gunned down scores of people also gouged out the eyes and sliced up the genitalia of some of the victims.

The investigation’s chair, conservative politician Georges Fenech, said he was concerned after seeing a letter from the father of one of the victims, who claimed his son had been disembowelled and castrated, with his testicles found in his mouth.

He said the father had also confirmed a report that one of the investigators vomited on leaving the Bataclan after finding a victim decapitated and disembowelled.

But French law-enforcement officials testified they had seen no evidence that victim injuries were caused by anything other than gunfire and shrapnel.

But we don't know either way. This guy could given his name be of French decent and want nothing more or less than revenge.

Nobody really knows anything at this point.

As i pointed out to amiga though, he also follows(ed) Richard dawkins. Can't be a christian and an atheist!

IIRC it was also John Paul II, not the current pope too.

There is no such thing as doing anything in the name of something

of course there is, that someone might have entirely personal/selfish reasons for doing so doesn't change that

you seem to be trying to start some sort of irrelevant semantic argument as usual

** quote has been removed **

Capital.

But admittedly it was more a comment on the "left" wing as it is today ie the people we've seen smashing up US cities and telling white guys with dread locks thier appropriating thier culture than traditional left wing economics.

Both absurd but the former hasnt really got round to writing anything worth reading yet.

Thread about Murdered Canadian Muslims co-opted to help Tefal make this statement. I'd say right wing ideology summed up in a post, but some people who are right wing thinkers, simply aren't this crass.

Oh no stewski that was a comment on people feeling the need to publically announce they are reporting a post, the thread it happened in was inconsequential

This is co-opting murdered muslims to make a statement about ideology

Scary to think that one of the resident OCUK far right nutters might do something similar.

Don't you think?

As for DP it's just a circle jerk of virtue signalling; he's feeling good about himself by publicly expressing just how noble he is in reporting a "fascist" (and being able to relate to his friends that they are on a forum march against fascism).

Quite true, it is that which I picked up on, the errmerrgerd follows Trump and LePen on Facebook, down to rights fascist white supremacist killer. Forgetting the millions of people voting for those two who just want a change from what we have in power all over the western world at the moment. The bunch of self serving clowns who will bend over backwards for anyone other than their own people.

Amusing story on Radio 4 this morning about Cameron trying to get the editor of the Daily Fail sacked during the run up to the referendum. Says a lot.

Might as well close the thread mods... it's turned to trash as always..

RIP to victims, let's hope nothing like this happens again.

To be fair, there are many reasons to get the Daily Mail editor sacked, but then you would have to sack many other editors to keep media to the same standard and then there would be a ruckus because poor reporting has lead to heavy media censorship.

As for people wanting a change from the normal self serving politicians, i believe La Pen is somewhat a new breed of politician but not Trump.

Anyway, this is getting off topic, we really dont need another discussion where people foam at leftys/rightys.

Is there any more on the witness mistaken who was originally a suspect? Was he just at the wrong place at the wrong time?

He was in the Mosque at the time of the attack but he panicked and ran out when the police arrived, as he thought another shooter had arrived. People who flee like that will always be suspected. They cleared it up and he himself said the police were very professional and respectful.

Quebec police have been doing some weird pension protest for a few years now where they haven't been wearing their proper uniform and wear camo trousers instead so if you saw a guy with a gun and camo trousers it would be easy to mistake them for a shooter.

However a lot of the media barely bothered to clarify, which is the shameful bit.

Due to fake news you'll probably find his name will be forever associated with the shooting on some alt-right sites.

Like what? It also says that most PMs have tried to get some editor sacked and that it happens all the time. Not sure why that surprises anybody?

You're obviously ok with it, I think it's pretty outrageous. Freedom of the press and all, even the Fail.

Not saying I am okay with it just saying its not a big deal Cameron tried doing it. Happens almost with every government.

Is there anything me and you can do about it? No.

Should newspapers be forced to be truthful and not just propaganda for the owners/editors political views? Probably but won;t happen.

Plenty of other things to worry about in life
