Why am I criticising our manager for playing someone who barely qualifies as a footballer over people who are good? I'm sure you can work it out.
so its about him not being good now? not about him not being a creative footballer?
does he not offer a aerial threat? does he not allow utd to play more direct? maybe jose thought etienne would sit back and frustrate utd, which utd have struggled to break down with in recent weeks.
maybe thats why hes been selected in that position over mata etc so utd could play more direct.
you make it sound like hes rotated fellaini for miki as he thinks they're a like for like swap.

Pretty much no to all questions. I think he believes Fellaini is good, thats why he keeps playing him despite all evidence to the contrary.
I certainly see how we'd struggle to play direct football with that tiny guy we've got up front...
lone striker will always struggle against two centre halfs regardless of height/strengh. (second ball)
