What did you do to your bike today?

Replaced one of my fork seals tonight, too about 2 hours with a few stops. Hardest bit was getting the fork leg off the bike, stripping the fork and replacing the seal is easy compared to getting the fork off the bike :D
 
Speedo is dead again.....replaced the corroded 3 pin plug from the speedo drive but no change. Managed to source the speedo gauge from a racing group, in case it's the motor/needle that's the issue. Trying to avoid replacing the speedo drive as I don't want to do that myself...there are two bolts holding it onto the top of the transmission and you just know they haven't been moved since the bike was built.
 
Took the bike apart and fitted LEDs to replace the dash bulbs. Much better this morning. However I did have a problem with a few in that the flexi circuit board appears to have green corroded contacts on some of the bulbs. This has made me wonder whether this is the cause of the speedo issue. Doubt I'm going to be able to source this part on it's own

Rode out to J&S Northwich and then on to Ponderosa Cafe. Weather turned out better than we thought it would and an excellent ride out. First one of the year and managed 150 miles :)
 
I took the Tuono for a short 2 hour ride today.

A bit nippy but the ride just reinforced that changing from the Street Triple was the right choice.
 
Tallpaul s I see you have a wheeled paddock stand, is it any good? I've been thinking of getting one to make moving the bike in the garage easier.

It's awesome, I would have major issues getting both bikes in the garage if it wasn't for the wheeled rear stand. I can put it on the front stand then push the rear stand across so the exhaust is a couple cm from the garage wall, it would either take a lot of positioning if the bike was on the right side of the garage to do this, and if it was on the left side it'd be impossible as the bike has to fall to the left when coming off the paddock stand, whereas with this I can pull it across while on the stand.
 
I went out for a ride today for a couple of hours after work, got lost in the Goole area of all places. But then I found this most glorious road, so smooth and twisty too!

In situations like that I really feel the restrictors, especially in the higher RPMs. Can't wait to yank them out.

On the other hand, after chatting to some other bikers, my SV looks stunning for its age and the bar conversion is excellent. I am however, doing a few tweaks and making a bracket (Which is drying now!) To align the brake lines to make them tidy and not touch the nose cone.

First time in ages that the roads for decent for a bit of scrubbing!
