Well I grabbed a Defender for my collection. It doesn't like to win battles but it looks good :p

I had a good duel against another Defender which was fun, bounce bounce bounce as we were both hull down!
 
I have over 800 games in the IS-6 and T34, both are basically redundant with the new T8s (Defender, Patriot, Liberte). I can't really see any reason to take them out of the garage now.

Still take the T34 out for a run every time I play with my T29 crew in it, then followed by the T29. The T34 for the credits and the crew training, they're currently sitting at 75% on their 6th skill :)
 
A depressing evening 10 battles, 3 wins :-(

Grinding the stock guns on the Udes03 and the Emil1 is painful when you keep getting T10 games.

Sometimes, you just have to give up and accept a game was not meant to be.....

Give me strength.....

The T-62/140/430/907 are still insane. they're the best T10 meds (my personal favourite is the T-62A) in the game in my opinion. The pen, gun handling and fire rate are bonkers.
 
Light tanks coming out the sandbox look absolutely insane, like the Russian T-100 which frankly makes current lightly armoured tanks look redundant in current form. Wonder how they will rebalance the game to put them in.
 
Really really struggling with the Emil 1. Had a 57% win after some 35 battles, but a run of 12 losses in a row (so many bad teams, TKers, one shots by arty, etc, just see my battle results screen above) mean I'm now down at 38% win rate.

About 6k xp away from the top gun so please let that help.....

But at the moment it just sucks.
 
Having said that the top gun on the Udes03 is lush. 288mm pen and 390dmg with a reload of just over 10secs. Plus the aim time and accuracy in siege mode are great with super fast APCR shell velocity as well.

Emil1 - not even the turret feels that great. Rather be in a T29 hull down and that is a tier lower.
 
St Emil was a pain, even with the top gun as you are committed for the entire game wherever you decide to go. That and gun can troll you with its accuracy sometimes, not to mention tracks eating your shot that takes so long to reload.
 
I was talking about the Emil 1 - Swedish T8 HT. But I remember the Stur Emil and how it irritated me for the same reasons.

I was expecting the Emil1 to reward hull down play well, but it still seems to get hit so easily. Plus it just cannot pen the 252u/defenders that are everywhere at the moment.

Been playing few games here and there with the new patch but not feeling an urge to play for more than half hour a day. Maybe I've finally managed to overcome the addiction!
 
Well after my run of defeats the past few nights had a quick go last night, 6 games and 6 wins!! didnt want to push it so left it at that.
