Poll: What would you rather fight - 100 duck sized horses, or one horse sized duck?

what is a duck sized horse going to do? the mouth is tiny, small muscle mass - which was the only thing the horse had going for it.
It can only kick, with tiny hoofs that won't reach above your ankle.

One horse sized duck, all I need is a barrel of hoisin and some spring onions and I'm set, to me the risk of getting beaked to death is worth it for a horse weight of crispy duck. I mean what am I going to do with 10 tiny horse corpses? I don't think the going rate for horse flesh is great since Iceland got caught out.
Incidentally between this and the medieval weapons thread I feel GD has ushered in a golden age of internet philosophy. Exciting times.

I'll go for the horse-sized duck. Duck neck is just asking to get choked out.
Yeah they do actually, pretty large too considering the size of the animal.
I think 1 horse sized duck would be easier than 100 duck sized horses.
With a 1 horse sized duck you can focus your full attention and stamina on that one creature. Yes it would be powerful but you could take it down if you fought smart.
With 100 duck sized horses you would get overwhelmed. At best with 1 good kick you could if your lucky get 3 in one shot, but you would have a lot of trouble maintaining the kicking force required to kill/incapacitate them with one kick. Then there would be the issue of them biting your legs, with time and enough bites they could easily reduce your ability to support yourself on your leg and then if they bring you to your knees, it's game over as they would simply swarm you.

1 duck sized horse for sure. A ducks skeleton and bone structure is not designed for it to be that size - if the size of an animal is r then it's strength is proportional to r^2 but its mass is related to r^3. It is likely the duck would break all its own bones immediately under its own weight and I wouldn't even have to do anything.
This made me laugh. Not just a little, a genuine laugh.
It's a good point. I wonder how friendly they'd be.
