On launch day the chances are the AIB partners are only going to have FE cards available which should be available for next day delivery from OcUK.

The problem with going to NVidia direct is it can be a bit slow like with the Pascal Titans which took several days to show up after launch day.

There is a good chance that holding out to order from OcUK is going to be a couple of days faster than going to NVidia.

I won't be ordering on launch day as I want to see what is available. I am also fortunate that I have a few old cards to keep me going.

I'm just worried that etailers will start price gouging the FE cards instead of sticking to Nvidia's pricing which on moral grounds would stop me from buying.

Gibbo has said that the FE cards will be priced the same at OCUK as nvidia have them.

OcUK will be selling at the price NVIDIA are! Not less, not more on FE cards!

only thing that will through it off is the price of the Dollar, Nvidia can take Pre-orders of the at the price of the $$ when it went Live, OCUK can only do that when they first Buy stock. Also Nvidia can hold the pricing of the dollar to what ever they please really, OCUK run a Nation business and cant .

But I have confidence that it'll be the same price for a while :D

This would only stand so long as the exhange rate didnt tank. If say, the exchange rate dropped by 10 to 20% before Friday, there is no way Gibbo could hold to Nvidia's price on the FE.

We say it with the 1080 FE and some manufacturers wanting £50 more for the FE version.
