Interesting alternative strategy for taking on Crota. No rockets required.

I wonder if DD will also work with WoL and illuminated? (Something for us to try I think). This strat is also seems easier for those who haven't run sword before as you just run to and from the Titan bubble (no messing up jump timings etc).

I have the necessary boots on my hunter (FrostEE) but I am not sure if I have the artefact to give me two smokes. I will double check tonight.

I only have DD though. Does anyone have Raze Lighter?

If I am on and you need a hand ping me an invite. Rainbow burn+ Daylight is hilarious fun, even when you wipe.

Happy birthday Rooster (did I miss when you said it was your birthday, if so sorry about that).

That was good fun if a little frustrating at times thanks to Crota glitching out.

My TV going into standby the moment I needed to get the last hit was "interesting" in a "oh FFS" kind of way.

What's the best way to kill the oversoul on crota we had two hunters on gunslinger but they didn't have nighthawk and still they couldn't destroy it as we also had rockets firing as well

You guys pre-ordering D2 at all? If so, sticking with PS4 or moving to PC? I've been debating keyboard and mouse vs casual Destiny games on the sofa, but decided it came down to the social aspect.

Hunter with GG and Celestial NH is by far the easiest way to kill the Oversoul. You can one shot it if the hunter is running Deadeye and over the Horizon.

Basically you leave it to the last possible second to kill the Oversoul after the second kneel thus only triggering one per sword phase.

If you don't have CH then either Sleeper or snipers are best. Rockets are pretty meh IIRC.

Pre-ordered on PS4 and PC (although the latter is for the collectors edition rather than being my primary platform).

Went from 350 to 353, my gun is 380 but rest are 351ish so just need some drops for armour and I'll be okay, I'm hoping xur has some decent stuff I have 18 strange coins

Sticking with ps4 as most people play it on ps4 from here.

Good game though, had some proper laughs last night, shame we didnt do Challenge next time though.
