Police! what the hell for! was she on medication at the time? lol
She wanted my fence taken down, she was desperate and thought the police would tell me to take it down.
6 years on and the fence is still there.

Can kind of see his point on that, I wouldn't just want the panel to be effectively cut in half. I'd want it to go in to a middle support the same way as it goes in to the baton on your wall currently.
Well you done the right thing by posting on the internet on ocuk in GD, take poop through his letterbox take boxing stance the smash his wife's pasty.
I mean really what is wrong with man today, be a man and sort him out![]()

I guess i can see his concern too. But if the OP is having his carpenter put up a gate, he could just as easily put a new fence on the neighbours side of the gap.
The neighbour can't dictate what you wish to do with your half of the fence.
I think this is what it's all about. The fact that he can't have what he wants though he wasn't going to anyway if it was overhanging so he's tough out of luck.Seriously? This is the same guy who is telling you he wants to build his lean to shed and have it overhanging your property........
O...K...
Let him build it, then get your power saw out and remove the overhanging section , that will please him.
A lot of rusty nails exposed would suggest long term damage!I managed to lean over to his side and take some pictures. This is his side but the broken bit is no where to be found.

I don't want to give in as he will probably take advantage in the future and that simply isn't happening.

tbf, fireworks and horses are not a great comboMy parents neighbours (who keep horses in a field at the back and are total menace with them) out in the sticks went mental one bonfire night when we were setting off fireworks. Our response was to set off some massive 4 foot high rocket we found, while she was in the middle of complaining. I thought she was going to die of anger.
