What utetr rubbish. If Nvidia had a fully working dies at acceptable yields they would have released it as such.
So why didn't they do that with the 1080 ti? And please don't try to say because they didn't want to outgun the current Titan because that isn't why, they obviously had this waiting in the wings and they did exactly that with the 780ti which was then followed by the Titan Black months later.
Nvidia were on the cutting edge of the very new 16FF+ process with such a big die, so much so that the rabid AMD fanboys were going on about how Nvidia would be 6 months behind AMD in releasing Pascal.
Where do people get these wild conspiracy ideas form?

		 , i do not believe this is the case, mainly because AMD probably dont have enough money to push for 2 big chips at the same time, or even delayed a bit, they need couple quarters revenue first.
