The word is used to mock fedora and trenchcoat-wearing basement-dwellers, as it's the sort of thing they say to women in order to appear suave.
Er, that's a Trilby not a Fedora.
He isn't wearing a trenchcoat either, but that picture illustrates the type of person I'm talking about.

Yep, I still go sometimes as it's great/fun way to get some exercise (when the weather is nice ) and everyone is very careful about equipment being on show outside of the sites. It's not like in the US where you can just drive around with a rifle on the passenger seat and people don't bat an eyelid. If people see what looks like an assault rifle in your car in this country, your a couple of moves away from getting shot by armed cops. This guy is just dumb
