The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

Hey,

I would really like to get reacquainted with Attack on Titan S1 before watching S2, but don't have the time for a full rewatch.

It seems there are two "summary" movies, Crimson Bow and Arrow and Wings of Fury, which would be ideal to watch. However, I can't find anywhere in the UK that will let me buy / rent / stream them (legally :p ).

Could anyone point me in the right direction please?

Cheers,

Su

Got a ticket for the sword art online movie which look to be having a mostly single showing across the UK on Wednesday. A nice little surprise, almost missed it as I didn't know it was happening.

Cheers for the heads up, checking with my gf if she wants to go see it, as neither of us actually watched the series.

Konosuba Season 2 - Hilarious loved it!
The Flying witch - Very chilled and great to watch before going to sleep
Fuuka - Meh... apparently it went of track from the original Manga quite severely
Ghost in the shell stand alone complex - Nuff Said... just great
Miss Kobayashis dragon maid - Brilliant, funny, feelsy and so heart warming... 1000000% must watch
Saga of Tanya the evil - Brilliantly mental character and absolutely loved it... 10000% must watch

Watching:

Akashic Records of ******* Magical Instructor- 1st episode was ropey but turning out ok

Just back tracking a little.

I really cant recommend Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid enough and i've yet to find anyone who didn't like it. It's Hilarious, serious, heart warming and the characters are great including their development throughout the show.

Whilst this was well received and it was something after initially looking at I believed I would like the surprising hidden gem for me that comes 2nd to MKDM is the Saga of Tanya the Evil. It's initially a bit of a strange show for the first episode but the main character is just so good this turned into a binge watch for me.

Has anyone watched the anime Monster? Came across a trailer for it on Youtube, well it was a suggestion off Youtube.

I think I watched the first ~20 episodes. It was good though a bit of a slow burn, so I slowly stopped watching... 70+ episodes is a big commit!

It's a thriller/mystery, so if you like that, you should give it a go :)

Just finished Saga of Tanya the Evil and couldn't agree with you more. I was captivated by the character and their beligerant crusade against being X.

Mob Psycho 100 gets a big thumbs up from me. Looking forward to more of it and hopefully more One Punch Man eventually.

Started on Assassination Classroom s1, struggling a bit to get into it but I'm going to stick with it.

well there is a season 2 of "one punch man" out later this year, but no news yet on "Mob psycho 100%". but I do hope they do one, same goes for "Saga of Tanya the Evil" that was really good and funny.

Sword Art Online - Ordinal Scale was pretty cool, even though I had no idea what was going on and who was who due to never watching the series.

I'm sure that final battle must have been super bad-ass for followers of the show. :D

I'd recommend you see the half of the first season of SOA whilst its fresh in your head :)

I quite enjoyed the movie and it lived up to what I hoped it was going to be. Can't really comment on the boss for spoilers but yeah that was great. The section after the credits was a nice surprise :D

Music was really great but that's Yuki Kajiura working her magic as usual, as much as I would have liked to have seen Yuna as a Vocaloid its probably best they didn't as she wouldn't have sounded half as good.

I finished Ghost in the Shell: SAC a couple of nights ago. I really wish they'd made a third series as it still stands up well today.

I've started Assasination Classroom which so far looks to be fun.

And in sale news, https://alltheanime.myshopify.com/collections/specials has Escaflowne (DVD set) for £20, Outlaw Star on Blu-ray for £20 and Selector Infected WIXO collectors edition for £35.

Watched Gantz O recently, wow what a brilliant adaption, I really enjoyed it and the CGI is top notch (although lip syncing is a little bit off)
