My order is currently set as "Order is awaiting handset release" when I called them they said they don't delivery on Saturday so I should expect it Friday, I'm not holding my breath.....MPD this is ...

Took me about 2 days to get used to it. I use Iris scanner as well and having both means i can easily unlock phone in most situations.

Same, although expected delivery date here says 30th which is a Sunday so that's not likely.
 
Thats the last time I buy from samsung directly - they're customer service is appaulling!!

Rung on tuesday to report the red tint issue - guy remotes on, makes some software changes and issue still there - obviously a hardware fault.
He says the phone has to be 'repaired' - can't guarantee anything, leaves me with a reference number and says someone will call back - no call back.
Wednesday I chase - took me 3 attempts to get through, eventually some guy answers and promises his line manager will call me back - no call back.

Luckily I was working from home today - UPS courier turns up to exchange the phone just now!! - They didn't even tell me he was coming!! - he was pretty ****** too as I wasn't ready for his exchange.

New handset is much better - no pink round the edges so there must have been a dodgy first batch that went out.

Got my TATEGUARD 3D HD Gloss glass screen protector yesterday too - gunna whack that on and crack on using the phone now. Shinyness has worn off but my gosh, that screen man!!! :)
 
Might be in the market for one of these, my iPhone 6 Plus is finally on its last longs after 2 and a half years of abuse. Looking at getting an S8 Plus but trying to find a deal where I don't get completely bummed on the price. EE is unfortunately ruled out due to really poor signal at work making the phone unusable.
 
Chitterchatter still no info on order, promised to email this evening with an update, I suppose I will cancel and go through with CarphoneWarehouse if I don't get anything.. annoying!

Would have ordered from John Lewis with free memory card if I knew I'll have to wait 3 weeks for it.
 
Hi Im trying to tidy up the Homescreen of my S8+, but when I long press any of the Apps to remove or try to uninstall them the option bubble disappears as soon as I try to press any of the options.

You need to be careful as the slightest movement of the app with the long press closes the option as soon as you lift your finger. Do the long press, the option comes off, take your finger off, menu should remain and then press the desired option :)
 
That TATEGUARD 3D glass protector has a great fit but unfortunately its rubbish. Top right corner of the device doesn't register touches, unless pressed hard.
AVOID!
