I have never had to return anything after a fault to the rainy place, its my Echo Dot, the speaker seems to have failed (crackling) when I go to my orders there is no option to return it,

I have been on there for around an hour now, how do I raise a ticket or whatever to return this?

its around 2 months old, if that?

thanks in advance

You go in to your orders, find the order for your item and there's a link to start a return, failing that, go on to live chat via the help section and they'll sort it for you.

Go into the contact us section, then select the order and then go to live chat. The return link Cuchulain is talking about disappears after 30 days so you need to speak to someone and they will ask you if you want to return it at the Post Office or Collect+ and then send you a return slip.

I returned a 3 month old Samsung Smartthings presence sensor last week and had to do this, literally took a couple of minutes.

You can still do it after 30 days. I think I was either near or past 90 days and could still select an order for RMA and got the replacement. It takes a little finding on the account. I can't quite remember how I found it...

It was the first return for me for a replacement. Granted they sent it out promptly for next day delivery.

Surely it would have been easier to ask Amazon customer service

And why not just say Amazon?

Has the rule regarding competitors been relaxed? Due to it being heavily modded it's ended up with people using code terms that most of us will know of like The Rainforest or that shop in Bolton etc.

Only if you specifically speak about items that they sell which are also sold on OcUK. In which case if you used the term 'Rainforest' then I'm sure a mod would take the exact same stance as if you used the real name.

As ChrisD mentioned, you are allowed to say Amazon and link to items belongs they are not items which Overclockers sell.

Same with Currys, Tesco, Sainsbury and Asda.
