I cannot vote for Labour, they're disjointed. I mean not long ago they were after Corbyn's resignation weren't they? If they won they'd spend the next x years infighting, sod that. I also couldn't trust them to negotiate a good deal.
As the conservatives gave us the Brexit vote, it would seem right to let them carry it through, even though I'm not a fan of Brexit. Personally, I do think we should have another vote once a deal is hammered out. Some believe Brexit should have required a 70% majority, 52% is just too slim and we need to check again we are happy with the path being taken once we know more about what Brexit will actually be.
Because of the above I'm tempted to vote lib dem's, but need to read up a lot more before casting my vote.

Spoil your paper and be done with it.

Neither are called monster in the article? Youve just made that up.

Its Selmayr that has that nickname:

No newspapers are impartial - you are hopelessly naive if you think any are. But you have implied the article is wrong in some way - so how? The only mistake so far is yours.

Sorry I missed one eu person off the list been called a monster. That's nick picking and doesn't deflect my arguement. I said the article was totally bias. I haven't fact checked it and made no claim on its validity. The mistake is yours.

I've just seen another 'expert' on Sky News saying that "Brussels want Conservatives to have a very strong majority so that May can better compromise on Brexit", so in their mind a stronger Conservative majority will make us a bigger pushover? am I in a parallel reality where logic is reversed or are the media so desperate to prevent Brexit that they're lying to in an attempt to get Conservative voters to stay at home and weaken Theresa May? it's only yesterday that the EU were putting out stories out saying that May is delusional and a trade agreement is 10 times less likely and now suddenly they want her to be strengthened by a bigger majority? I think not.

They know May has dedicated both her own and her parties being to getting Britain out of the EU whatever it takes and unfortunately for good or bad. They also can see that her negotiating stance has been limited by her own quotes, and they will use that against her. In my eyes as a lifetime conservative voter they are deliberately backing themselves into a corner like a dog. How can I continue to vote for a party that is biting the hand that feeds for the benefit of a 2% referendum majority? I can accept the outcome of that referendum and want whats best for this country, but at this point there is no leader in my eyes that is good enough for the job.

I presume you went into such a rage at you didn't listen to what they (probably) said?

The argument is usually that May may want a bigger majority so she can water down the hard Brexit crowd in her own party. With more votes in the party she can safely ignore the most rampant MP's and still get a more compromised policy passed. Nothing to do with being a push over, all to do with getting a better deal for the majority, not just those hard Brexiteers.

Whether that's all actually the case however - well only she knows.

It's par of the course from the the EU, they seem to collectively suffer from some sort of a mental illness where their thinking is completely twisted

You mean apart from its the same scenario that has been put forward from the moment the GE was called from different commentators in the UK that she could want a big majority to lessen the influence of the hard right in her party and deliver a softer version of Brexit....I mean, it's not like your pathological hatred of the EU would display itself as some form of mental illness where your thinking is completely twisted is it.

But of course that can't be true, because it's not what you want and you know what's in her mind. She's told you what Brexit it's going to be, it's a red white and blue Brexit one isn't it, I'm glad that's cleared it up, no speculation needed!

She needs to find a way past the hard Brexit hardliners - a similar crowd to John Major's ******** way back when - so a strong majority helps there. Worth remembering that May was a remainer so behind her strong and stable unflinching face she probably wants a bit more compromise than she lets on.

I suppose given that I'm in a Tory safe seat you could argue that it doesn't matter what I do but that's not how it should be and that's not how I view my input into democracy. It honestly is a crap period for the voting public IMHO, It's like choosing between unpleasant ways to be murdered.

Like many of us, I think the best thing you can do is tactically vote on June 8th. If you don't want a Conservative government, vote for whichever party has a recent history of being their strongest rival in your constituency. For me in Southampton Itchen, that means Labour, Royston Smith only narrowly won in the last GE and is the only Conservative win since before 1997.

No there is a lot of logic in it and a lot of people think May only called a GE so she could get a bigger majority so she kind silence the worst of the hard Brexiteers in her party which would then enable her to get a softer br sit through the commons in two years time. She wouldn't have a chance atm

The Tories accusing others of rigging something, oh my sides.

Is any of this similar to the way our media is bought and sold, our public broadcaster having enough high ranking Tory executives to toe the party line, the 350 million pound promises, the threat of war with Russia or terrorist attacks if we vote anyone but Tory.

I wouldn't **** on these tory ******* if they were on fire.

And while everybody is distracted by this, quietly May is pushing through becoming Trumps dog and bombing Syria.

I think the only people deluded are those that thought brexit was going to be good in the short to mid term. It was always going to be absolutely horrible. The EU can be unreasonable as they like and if they choose to be, that's our tough luck - we chose to leave, they didn't kick us out.

I continue to be baffled by comments I read to the effect of "the EU is looking to screw us - which just shows why we should have left". They are obviously going to look out for themselves - why on earth wouldn't they?! We pretty much deserve whatever crappy deal we get.

Hopefully the long term will be more positive. I've been surprised that it hasn't been that bad so fair (as in, better than I expected) so long may that continue.... but we haven't really started yet.

Only we are allowed to look after our own interests remember. Everyone else should bow to the mighty UK.

It is like the Gibraltar thing. We want to shut our borders and stop free movement of people, yet expect Spain to still open theirs to countries outside of the EU. It is ridiculous as we just seem to have forgotten that the EU and free movement of people was set up to avoid and resolve problems like this.

Globally, we are a laughing stock at the moment.

Saw this, made me lol:
