Back on track...
I did not get a call back from a "supervisor" as promised yesterday but because I had emailed the CEO someone from his escalation team called me today.
They are still adamant that it was me that did it but because I am a long standing customer of Playstation and have never had issued before he has refunded the money it will take 30 days.
After they have verified who you are.
Of course it is secure, with 2-factor installed then nobody is getting into your account without the device you've setup to receive the key. If somebody phones up Sony and pretends to be you, they are not suddenly going to be able to get all the details changed.
Good luck dealing with Sony they have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
Sorted now by someone on the executive team, but yeah you wouldn't get anywhere with the normal support team. Yeah fine they are in the UK but if all they can do is read from a script and not use common sense what's the point.
