Should have just stuck with android pay support. Reinventing a well used and supported wheel is just a waste of everyone's time

So basically it's just android pay?! I've been waiting an age for MST transactions through it, with promise after promise of it being released "soon". An absolute joke.

This is unfortunately Samsung all over, so eager to bring a product to market, that it's half baked... Will they ever learn..

Seeing as there's no MST for UK the only reason to use this is if you have a Samsung watch and you want to pay with it. Other then that, Android Pay will do the same thing with a lot more supported banks.

it start a wee bit but my phone s7edge still not support as it not update from Samsung yet as I checked last date was 28th March 2017 so wait for update to support but fewest bank at the moment - Im using Android Pay plus Tesco own Payqwiq that can pay up to 250 quids plus auto collect tesco clubcard points.. Samsung Pay for UK banks is very slow to grow so wait at least until near Xmas or into 2018... have to wait until bank is ready to support this

How pointless. I only wanted this over android pay for the MST part, without it there's literally no point to using it

MST transactions are not "insured" (sorta, dont hurt me those who work in finance) in the UK since C&P cutoff date. If a merchant supports MST they have to take the risk on a fraud transaction which is why no one likes them anymore as far as I understand.

Didn't realise it didn't support MST in the UK, that was one feature I was looking forward to, and no cards I have are supported out the box (Amex is going to be supported they say, but no date yet...)

What a load of balls. I'll stick to Barclays/Amex Pay through their native apps.

I'm considering a smart watch and the Android Wear options are a bit underwhelming. The S3 Frontier looks a good option but without Samsung Pay support it seems a bit pointless.

Disappointing that M&S isn't supported yet considering it's just HSBC.

I'm not bother with Samsung pay. I'm stick with Android pay and tesco payqwiq that perfect as I use a lots. Android pay only up to 30 quids as tesco own payqwiq can up to 250 quids plus auto collect clubcard points that easy one

Android pay is not limited to £30, thats the limit that doesn't require a unlock via fingerprint/PIN/Pass.

Didn't they raise the limit to £100 now? But most terminals can still only do up to £30 since they don't have the required security support for bigger payments.

That's what Samsung do unfortunately. No idea why they bother when android pay exists and works perfectly.

To be fair would Google even allow Android Pay on Tizen based devices? Or has Google locked that up with only their OSes? Samsung says they plan to launch more Tizen phones as well so they could have Samsung pay, as well as all the other Samsung alternatives such as... Bixby.

No UK banks limit is 30 quids for contactless card included Android Pay - it wont go over 30 quids as both contactless card and Android Pay only up to 30 quids -- some other like Tesco own Payqwiq digital that automatic collect clubcard can up to 250 quids.. if the Android Pay Icon on the display then it ok but not when contactless icon on the display.

I have found the £ 30 limit at a number of shops using Android Pay, which is usually more than enough for me. However I did note that at M & S, which is tied to an M & S credit card through Android Pay, I have found no problem spending well in excess of £ 30 and passing my Pixel over the card processor. Perhaps that limit is tied to my limit on my M & S credit card?
