Labour can't form a government, the maths simply doesn't add up. It looks like an unstable Tory minority is most likely but full coalition with either the DUP (who are a nasty pack) or the LDs (who will demand a second referendum, surely) is possible.

John McDonnell disagrees with you according to his interview on R4 this morning. :)

Icing on the cake would be if she walks!! :D

Makes a compete shambles of the Brexit process this election. It shows a vote of no confidence in the Tories.

This country has no Scooby Doo where were going. The EU are laughing at us.

My only aim pre election was dethroning May. Couldn't of hoped for a better outcome other than her now quitting.

Job done.

Because Corbyn bought their vote with the tuition fees promise. Libs did the same in 2010. You think they would have learnt by now.

Anyone who thinks this is the only reason is a bit naïve imo...

Regardless of what you may think of it, Social Justice is a thing and the youthful electorate appreciate it. Corbyn fronts that and always has.

Plus, people always seems to underestimate how many people HATE the cons these days...

... because we'll now have to pay them billions to be in the single market, and mass-immigration will continue to erode the social foundations of this country and drive down wages

A disaster of biblical proportions. Old Testament, real wrath of God type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together...mass hysteria!

Or, you know, perhaps not.

It literally was fully costed. And plenty of legit economists backed it up

The problem is mate, I dont trust Labour with money, let alone my money and as someone who is targeted by their tax increase, I therefore wont vote for them until they convince me otherwise. I would be interested in these "economist" reports/references you have referred to.

Enjoyed this post. Thumbs up

Well done UK, you managed to screw this up well and truly. The result is about the worst possible one, regardless of who you support.

Don't you dare blame the electorate for this you shill Dolph. The blame for this fiasco lays squarely with May for putting party interests ahead of those of the country and the electorate have basically come back and told her they are not amused. More over if the cons ran a positive campaign selling the virtues of the their own manifesto rather than spending 4 weeks telling us that Corbyn is the ******* son of Stalin and Abbott has issues with mental retardation then they may have actually gained traction with floaters / middle of the road voters. They chose to try and run a dirty campaign and now they are reaping the rewards of not being in a strong position.

Jesus, your hypocrisy knows no bounds.....you have made yourself a laughing stock on this forum lately

Just lately?

That'll be Boris PM by next week and a hard Brexit then .

I just can't fathom what Labour voters think they have done here , home issues aside we now have sod all credibility with the EU.

Because perhaps, you know, there is more to a GE than just one issue eg Brexit. If you wanted a GE purely on Brexit they should have called another referendum not a GE.

Labour aren't forming anything and that's good, they're much better off waiting till the next GE and pushing for a majority if this swing towards them is anything to go by, than to put up with some shambolic coalition where they'll get annihilated on any of their manifesto points.

I wonder how many of the independents / other are ex Tories or would back the will of the referendum and side with conservatives in return for some concessions here and there.

They love him now... :D
Only cause everyone left and he had to fill his cabinet with his best mates.

Him calling for may to stand down is just a joke when 10 months ago he refused and he couldnt even get his own party in order at least May has backing from her own side
