One thing's for sure we're a very divided country and it saddens me that remainers haven't accepted the will of the people expressed in the referendum.

Maybe because since then their views, despite being 48% of the popualation has been totally ignored like it was one 99% to 1%.

Labour want to remain in the single market which means accepting freedom of movement. That is in stark contrast to the majority that voted brexit.

Err...you obviously don't remember that all the prominent LEAVE campaigners said it was utterly inconcievable that we would leave the Single Market....and remainers saying we would was just Project Fear...

Like Glaucus said....you're just making **** up

So are people happy with the Cons being propped up by catholic-hating, anti-LGBT, anti-abortion, nutcases?

Don't forget climate change denying ( and corrupt )

"Despite being climate change deniers, they used their role in government in Northern Ireland to set up a subsidy scheme for biofuels, which gave those who bought into it more money than they had to pay out. The Northern Irish exchequer ended up paying out around half a billion pounds to those who knew about the scheme, leading to a scandal known as ‘cash for ash’, and a major investigation into whether DUP staff and supporters personally benefited. We have been told time and time again, mainly on here, that it wasn't about immigration.

The fact you're judging an entire costed manifesto on a single radio interview, yet ignoring the fact that the Conservative manifesto wasn't costed and the "party elite" continually failed to describe where the figures came from, shows just how delusional you and all of the other Tory voters are.

Thanks.
Costed on the back on generating a huge increase in tax revenue. its never going to be "that" simple to gain that much tax. When that eventually doesnt happen then were just back to eye watering rates of deficit again.

Its about as costed as some fag packet maths. (for the record im not against it, its just very idealistic!)

The IFS? They are a right-wing think tank, you know. Well respected, but right-leaning and no particular authority nonetheless.

Often worth listening to, but just another voice

IFS ripped apart Tories manifesto just as badly and that came up short by similar figures.

Replace May with Rees-Mogg I say.

Go no, they would lose even more support.

I think the Cons would do well to ditch May and call another election. Sort of saying to the electorate "OK, so you don't like May, how about this guy?".
If they put Ken Clarke in charge, now that's a PM I could get behind.

They would get my vote again with him in charge.

poor excuse. takes all but 2mins to pop down your local polling station and tick a box

and to read the manifestos, learn the personalities and plans of each party, follow the debates etc? or would you rather they all turned out like sheep and ticked for whichever party was pegged to win by "the will of the people" as described by the media.

Really? I have seen several Tory Mp's saying she has to go.

A small % compared to the amount of people in Labour that were calling for Corbyn to go. As said I cant stand either of them and think they should both step down. Corbyns a hippy, May reminds me of the head witch out oh the Roald Dahl film and theyve just spent the entire camping bickering rather than discussing anything of any real merit

I think your right, but i think it goes deeper, people seem very good at talking or shouting at each other, but aren't willing to listen to others views and taking them onboard. We've become especially intollerent in this respect, especially online.

so utterly deluded, do you even know what labours manefesto was for EU.

perhaps you should be looking at what May was doing and why she lost votes. Rather than just making **** up.

Did she lose votes? I thought the Conservative Vote share went up? Just not as much as the Labour vote share. The Cons are about 1% of Tony Blair in 1997 as far as votes go but with considerably less seats.
