Liam Gallagher

No I agree. Liam Gallagher is an utter bell. Could have at at least smiled once. He was on stage full of attitude and ego.

It's all part of his on stage persona, it's not like he is any different any other time over the past 20 odd years. Thought he was brilliant actually. Shame about his brother not growing a pair and turning up. O and for the lord, Chris Martin was awful singing with him.

Great contribution :o

If you disagree, I'm all up for a debate but I just don't get the appeal (and I like a lot of the earlier Oasis albums).

Everything about his frontman image grates. The stupid jackets, his "I've pulled my back" mic stance and the lack of movement on stage are boring. This is without mentioning all the shenanigans of yesteryear where he thought he could get away with it.

Look at any number of frontmen for the biggest bands and they've all got that little extra element. It's like watching a bloke down the pub do some covers... it sounds alright but it's boring and tiresome after the first 3 mins.

That is his image, neither of them are going to change. They believe rightly or wrongly that its about their music, not prancing around the stage. It always has been throughout their entire careers.

I think they are both great, even though they have been doing the same thing for 20 years its still great for them to speak their mind in interviews etc instead of reeling off the pre-prepared rubbish. As you were......:p

Just wow, it wasn't like Noel was going to show anyway, I'm surprised Liam even did can't help but wonder if he only did it as he's got a new song out.

At least LG didn't keep shouting "come on Manchester", unlike Chris Martin and Robbie Williams.

To be fair to Chris Martin, Don't Look Back in Anger sounded pretty decent - and this is coming from someone who'd normally rather watch paint dry than Chris or Coldplay.

Sung it quite well?!?!? He got the sodding words wrong when they put up a 20M wide screen with them on it!

His Twitter demeanour has been disgusting tbh.

He should have just turned up done his thing and moved on.

He spouts hate on Twitter while maintaining his notion of love to the world...

What a spanner :p

Whether he's onstage of offstage; his persona is still one of a complete and utter groin. And presenting himself as he did for an audience of mainly young girls and playing his new awful single just continues to highlight his supposed staged arrogance.

Why? He's come out to help support his own town, more than his brother did. Granted he was a bit naughty singing his new single.
His brother has quietly signed over the royalties from don't look back in anger to the charity. A far more meaningful much less attention grabbing all about me approach!

The concert was about a bit more than that, it was a show of standing together and not letting them win and I think it achieved that.
