Bought GHDs received empty box.....

Bought my girlfriend a set of ghds for her birthday from the genuine website but have received an empty ghd box, looks like the tape on the box has been opened already so likely stolen by the carrier but obviously can't prove this. What are my options likely to be will I end up loosing out ? I have emailed ghd tonight but waiting on there reply.

Think all you can do is contact for seller and hope they can straighten things out.

We've had issues like this come through our depot and a dispute case can be opened between the customer, Our contact centre and Sender.. Usually if its a business your buying from you get insurance cover.. It can be a long process but I'm pretty sure it can be sorted as you've contacted them as soon as youve received the package, its usually within 48 hours you must contact them

The parcel was received yesterday afternoon Ive just opened it tonight so just over 24hours and emailed them straight away. It was from the proper ghd website so did not expect issues like this but hopefully I will be covered don't want them trying to say I'm making it up basically.

Was the weight of the package (or rather lack of) not a bit of a giveaway?!

i didn't take the parcel in unfortunately, although i doubt i would have noticed the weight anyway as I'm not sure how much or little they are supposed to weigh.

Ah fair enough. I'd be punching whoever did sign for it though!!

No idea myself how much they weigh but I'd have a fair idea if I received a parcel and there was next to no weight in it! i.e. Empty!

Although bot ghds my daughters have straighteners and tbf they are not exactly heavy to begin with so I would imagine op would not have really know the difference
