I used PB for a while a few years back but got sick of the crappy website and performance so I now use Imagur. Imagur is good but sometimes it hangs due to overload from users. Still, it's much better than PB.
On my forum I am currently test an add-on to convert hotlinked images to attachments, to save hundreds of threads with no pictures as a lot are picture heavy.
Photobucket, AOL, MSN and Internet Exploder all fall in the same basket - obsolete crap.
Users of Photobucket and Imageshack - start using Imgur or Postimage.
Users of AOL, Prodigy and Demon - start using Virgin Media or PlusNet.
Users of MSN and AIM - start using Jabber or IRC or if you really insist... Facebook chat
Users of Internet Exploder and Edge - start using Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari.
They reorganized and after all... demanded users to pay crazy money (like 500$ for sharing pictures ? lol... go back to caves). There is NO PHOTOBUCKET for normal use since.
The same is with their "child" - TinyPic.
Timewasters.
Went to GoDaddy for some cheap hosting, so now I can share my pics in my own domain
No one uses Photobucket anymore as they decided that attempting to fleece anyone who comes within 2 clicks of them is more important than providing a good service.
Because I began using PB a decade ago I was always putting off downloading all my pics but very glad I spent the time and moved on from PB. It helped my 7 year build thread on a car forum was also deleted when the forum ended.
